Level 2 Early Years Practitioner

The Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship is suitable for those who are new to Early Years or who want to improve their knowledge, skills and behaviour. This qualification will take you to the next level in early years education covers care for children from birth to age five in both indoor and outdoor environments to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements set by the government.

This apprenticeship will open doors to job titles such as Assistant Childminder, Nursery Assistant, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Nanny and Early Years Worker.

This course is typically takes up to 12 months.

How is the qualification assessed?
This qualification is assessed through completion of a portfolio of evidence which will be assessed and internally quality assured by the centre.

What next?
Learners achieving this qualification can choose to progress onto the Level 3 Early Years Educator.
