Level 4 Lead Practitioner in Adult Care

Guide and inspire team members to make positive differences to adults needing care when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional, psychological or intellectual challenges. They will have achieved a level of self-development to be recognised as a lead practitioner within the care team, contributing to, promoting and sustaining a values-based culture at an operational level. 

How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?
This apprenticeship is a minimum of 18 months to complete.

  • Assessing performance and quality of care delivery

  • Safeguarding and risk management policies and procedures

How is the qualification assessed?
This qualification is assessed through completion of a portfolio of evidence which will be assessed and internally quality assured by the centre.

What next?
Individuals achieving this qualification can choose to progress onto the Level 5 Leader in Adult Care (equivalent to foundation degree).
